Caroleen Methodist Church was founded in 1897 to serve the textile mill community of Caroleen, NC. Throughout the years we have been through many changes of names from the Methodist Episcopal Church through the United Methodist Church. In 2023, our congregation disaffiliated from the United Methodist denomination because of theological differences. That same year, we joined the newly formed, Global Methodist Church.
